Myles Ashong invited to attend 2006 US Club Soccer id2 Regional Training Camp
We are pleased to announce that Myles Ashong of Middlepath U13 Boys' Team was identified and have been invited to attend US Club Soccer id2 Regional Training Camp in Zarephath, New Jersey.

Myles, who is a 8th Grade student at LaGrange Middle School in the Arlington School District, also plays for his school soccer team. This is the 2nd year Myles has been selected to attend the id2 National Training Camp which is an invitation only event. In 2005, he and his older brother, Ethan, also a member of Middlepath-FC, were selected and attended the id2 Training Camp in Jacksonville, Florida.

The id2 National Training Camps bring together the nation’s top youth players, identified as a result of year long scouting, for four days of competition, evaluation and fun. The program also seeks to identify and develop the country’s best players for inclusion in US Soccer’s youth national team programs. US Soccer Youth Development Program staff are in attendance at the id2 Regional Training Camps to monitor players’ performances.

Congratulations to Myles. All Middlepath-FC Board members especially his coach, Bobby Horodes (Men's Soccer Head Coach at Marist) are proud of his accomplishment and wish him the best of luck at the Training Camp. He will be an excellent Ambassador for the Middlepath-FC Club.
